Popsicle kind of day!

 Where I am from this is called a "Bomb Pop" but I didn't know if everyone would know what that was.  But I thought everyone would know what a popsicle was.  Everyone in my house is a fan of the "bomb pop" but me.  Just not my thing.  All three colors have different flavors.  I like all three of the flavors, just not on one stick.  I just can't explain it.  One of those weird things I guess.  LOL  Thanks so much for stopping by to see what I've been up to today.

I Heart Video Games

Festive Deer

 Putting this card together didn't go exactly as planned.  Has that ever happened to you?  The plan was to have eyelets hold the ribbon in place.  Well, I was so excited to find my Crop-A-Dile.  I had to dust it off but - no problem.  It took me a little bit of thinking again how to use the thing but I had it all set the eyelets were in place and I squeezed the tool but bam it got stuck!  I had to pull it apart only for the thing to fall apart in my hands - eek!!  So my Crop-A-Dile is now in my trash can.  Thank goodness I had just moved my stapler a couple days ago or believe me I would not have even known were to begin looking for that thing.  So I dug that out and found - to my amazement red staples and used those to fold my ribbon on to my tag.  It wasn't the look I was going for but...well it worked.  The stamp set is an old from from Stampin' Up.  I have no idea how old - not as old as my Crop-A-Dile. LOL  But, it was the first time I think I've used the set.  Thanks so much for reading my story and stopping by to see what I've been up to.  Have a great day!

I Scream You Scream

 Remember that old saying?  I scream you scream, we all scream for ice cream.  LOL  I have no idea where it came from but it is a saying that will stay with me forever.  Do you recognize this set?  It's from my local Dollar Tree store.  My daughter went shopping with her grandma and bought me a present.  Well, I had to put it to good use.  It stamps up very nicely but the stamps do not like to stick to the acrylic blocks very well, but I'm not going to tell her that.  I'm going to show her the card that the stamp set she got me made and she will be very excited.  Gotta love presents!!  Thanks for stopping by today to see what I have been up to!

Sweet Bunny

 I really stepped out of my comfort zone when I did this card.  This is as close to pastel as I can come.  My daughter is a total pastel girl.  I have no idea where in the world that came from.  She loves everything pastel and I love everything bright and colorful.  But when I printed this cutie out I thought I would try it.  This image is from 2 Cute Ink and she is called Sweet Bunny.  Heidi sent her to us in her July newsletter.  If you are not a member of 2 Cute Ink and don't receive the newsletter you will want to hop on over and sign up HERE.  I had fun coloring her up but I had to say it was hard not to put her in a red dress.  LOL  Thanks so much for stopping by today to see what I've been up to.

Hey Chickie!

 Sometimes it just brightens your day to color up a little chickie and today was that day.  I wanted to go for a walk but it is hot hot hot outside so I decided to color where it is cool.  I played a game of LIFE with my daughter and colored up the cutie.  It is an oldie from Bugaboo.  Sorry to see this store close but glad I have some of her stamps so still use.  Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been working on.

Picnic Time

Do you like picnics?  My youngest and my grandkids love them  The thought of picnics reminds me of bugs.  LOL  It's good to slow life down and enjoy a picnic once and a while.  This is another old set.  I put it in a holder but wrote on it that it is from H&M.  The set is called Picnic Time.  I looked up the company and cannot find them.  I don't think they are in business any longer.  But this grill was just too cute not to ink up and finally get on a card.  Yep it's a Halloween card.  LOL  I couldn't do another Christmas or Summer card so this is what it is.  I used an old Stampn' Up set called Banner Year.  I have never even inked the set up.  I have no idea how long I have had the set but it's been a long time.  eek! Christmas Shark

 Good thing it's cool in my house because it just wouldn't feel right coloring up Christmas images in July if it wasn't.  LOL  This adorable shark is an old stamp I have been storing in my computer.  I purchased him from a company that sold their images on Etsy.  The name of the company was LaPetite Market.  But they are no longer in business.  The set was called Christmas Sharks.  There are 5 different sharks and they are all decked out for Christmas.  So you might see some more sharks in the future getting ready for Christmas time.  I made this card into an easel card and the sentiment is just too perfect.  hehe  Thanks for stopping by to see what I have been working on.
