Hermit Crab

You Light Up My Life

What a fun day in the craft room today.  This is my second card and I am loving it.  I used the set from the July Paper Pumpkin called Summer Nights.  I also used the jar from the Jar of Flowers set all from Stampin' Up.  I remember catching fireflies when I was a little girl.  It makes me smile.  Thanks so much for stopping by today to say "hi".

Wishing You a Sweet Season

Witching you a Happy Halloween

I was able to make another card today.  I used another one of my new stamp sets from Stampin' Up.  It is called Festive Post.  I am really loving it.  There are Halloween, Christmas, Winter, and Valentines stamps in the set.  I used the three tiny bats to make the background paper for my card.  Perfect.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Dove of Hope

Today I used the stamp set from Stampin' Up called Dove of Hope the die set that goes with it is called Detailed Dove Dies.  I think this is just a beautiful set.  I just received it the other day and this is the first time I have played with it.  I'm sure I will use it many more times.  Thanks for stopping by today!

Cool Coffee Cup

I wish your days are full of cool coffee cups.  This image is from Stampin' Up.  It is part of a set called Press On.  Both of the sentiments are also from the set.  I stamped them on the designer paper and fussy cut them out and stacked them together.  I just had to add the tiny diamonds to the corners or the sunglasses.  Now this is a cup I really want to drink out of.  Thanks so much for stopping by to see what I have been working on.

Birthday Balloons

Today the heat broke on us in Iowa.  It was wonderful.  I hope you had a wonderful day wherever you are.  I made a card today using the Balloon image from Bugaboo Stamps.  I printed the image twice and layered the balloons.  It worked perfect to make a tall and skinny card.  Thanks so much for stopping by today to have a look.

Happy Friday everyone!  I hope you have a great day.  Today I made a card and it did not turn out like I was thinking about it in my head.  Am I the only one that these kind of things happen to?  It is very frustrating.  Oh well, time to just move on.  I just another one of my new Stampin' Up stamp and die sets.  The stamp set is called Forever Fern and the die set is called Forever Flourishing Dies.  I need a lot more practice stamping on the die after it is cut out.  I stamped one set and then tried to cut them out.  That didn't work so well for me either.  Maybe the frustration with this card comes from many angels.  lol

Summer Fun!

Day two of having my new blog and day two of making a card to post.  I'm so glad I finally gave up on the old blog and started this new one.  Thanks for stopping by today.  This fun card is made by using a new Stampin Up set I just purchased.  It is called Cute Fruit.  There is also a pineapple, a banana, a piece of kiwi, and a piece you can use as a lemon or lime.  I used that one on my "smile" piece as another slice of watermelon.  I just became a Stampin' Up Demonstrator.  I'm having more fun purchasing for myself right now than anything else.  LOL
